Ash has always been obsessed with spotting where attention is moving next.
While most brands were still trying to understand social commerce, Ash was studying what was happening in China, where live shopping had already become a multi-billion-pound industry. The question was simple: if consumers were buying through live streams overseas, why wasn't the UK following the same path?
Convinced that TikTok Live would become one of the biggest sales channels in the country, Ash set out to build the infrastructure brands would need when the market caught up.
In 2025, KOVA began with just 5 studios in Stockport.
Rather than chasing attention, the business focused on mastering the craft. KOVA operated behind the scenes as a white-label partner for some of the UK's leading marketing and production agencies, running campaigns, producing content, managing creators, and delivering results while partner agencies took the spotlight.
Those early months became the foundation of everything that followed.
By working across hundreds of campaigns and brands, the team gained an unrivalled understanding of what actually drives sales on TikTok. They learned faster, moved faster, and built systems that could scale.
As demand accelerated, so did KOVA.
Later that year, the company opened a 25-studio facility in Trafford Park, dramatically increasing capacity and attracting brands looking for a dedicated TikTok growth partner rather than just another marketing agency.
Now, less than 18 months after opening its first studio, KOVA is preparing to launch a new 15,000 sq ft Manchester headquarters, bringing its network to around 40 studios and establishing one of the largest dedicated TikTok Live infrastructures in the UK.
Today, KOVA helps brands launch, scale and dominate on TikTok Shop through live selling, affiliate marketing, content creation and paid media. The mission remains the same as it was on day one: stay ahead of where attention is moving and help brands get there first.
